How to install mods in Gta Sa using IMG TOOL 2.0
Downgrading your Gta Sa to V1 so it can be modded.[If necessary]

1) First you will have to check if your San Andreas game is v1 or not.To do that:
  • Go open up Gta Sa and in the menu screen on the right hand side corner bottom look if its written v2.
  • If nothing is written it means its v1 and you San Andreas can be modded.
2)If it is version 2 go download the downgrader from this mediafire link I have provided:

3)The file have the following files:
  • Crack
  • gtasapatch
  • gtasapatch.zip
  • gtasa.exe
4)Open gtasapatch folder. Then you will see this file named 'gtasapatch'
Open that.
5)Then you will get this :
6)Click on Next and Next again.
7)Then it will ask for your directory:
Click on the small box with 3 small dots to select the directory of your Gta Sa[If its different].
If you are done with that click Next.
8)Then it will say it can be patched/downgraded.Click Start and You are done!

9)[Optional]Now in the folder you downloaded you may have seen a gta sa exe file. You can place that in your directory. If you do that will no longer need the disc to run Gta Sa. [Don't forget to backup the default file]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now modding your Gta Sa
1)Open up IMG Tool 2.0. Note:-If you are using Windows 7 right click on the Img icon and click 'run as administrator'.

2)You can download it from the link I have provided:
Img tool 2.0 and a mod
I have provided a mod too in it for testing.
3)When you have opened up your Img tool you will see a blank white space:
4)Click File>Open>Then open 'gta3.img'.
5)You will get a lot of files! So for example if you are replacing the vehicle greenwood.Click Edit>Find>Type
Greenwood.txd.And you will see the file high lighted.
6)To backup that file:Commands>Extract.
7)Then to install the mod:Commands>Replace>Greenwood.txd
8)Do the same for the .dff file.
9)At last go to Commands>Rebuild Archive.
And you are done!
Hope this helped.Any questions?Do feel free to ask :)
